RICARDO ANTONIO WINFREE JR.

Listen to Obituary

Ricardo Antonio Winfree was born on May 23, 1991, to Tonya Simpson and Ricardo Winfree Sr. Without warning, he entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2026.

Ricardo received his education in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, and Howard County Public School Systems. He graduated and earned his high school diploma at Wilde Lake High School. He attended college for some time at Howard community College. He then branched out and began working at the Marylan Live Casino.

Ricardo was affectionately known as “Cardo Burgers or Cardo”. He had an unexplainable love for sports!! He was EXTREMELY passionate about his favorite teams and player, Lamar “Action” Jackson. (The Baltimore Ravens, The New Orlean Saints, The Maryland Terps, The Baltimore Orioles, and Miami Heat)

He would argue you down about his team’s ability to win.

Ricardo enjoyed playing video games, going out to eat, spending time with family, watching sports, going to sports events, and horseplaying with his nieces and nephew.

Growing up, he attended different ministries with his mom. Before his untimely death, he was a faithful member of Citadel Cathedral of Prayer International, here he was under the leadership of Apostle Thomas W. Ridgely. He attended services regularly with his Twin. (Reenae) No matter what he endured, every time he walked through the door, he was sure to praise God! He either greeted you with a smile and a hello, or a smile and trash talk about your team losing. Either way, he wore the biggest infectious smile. Wherever there was food, faith, or fun, Ricardo was there.

He was proceeded in death by his grandfather; Arthur Sykes, great great grandmother; Julia Reynolds, great grandmothers; Mary Lee, and Edith Winfree, aunt; Carla Sykes, and nephew; Kameryn Alexander

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Tonya Simpson (Tracy), father; Ricardo Winfree Sr (Kristy), grandmothers; Linda Sykes, and Doris Winfree, aunt; Lidia Carter (Charles), uncles; Frederick Peterson, and Demond Ligon, brothers; Ricky (Brittany), Isaiah, Dayquan, Ricardo lll, sisters; Kiera, Reenae, Asia, Princesheena, and Melinna, nephew; Ricky Jr, nieces; A’marielle, Zoriah, Maliyah, Kailen, Aisiah, Zy’aire, Rylie, Marlee, Zhane, and Azuri.

He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
