MAGDALENO ARIAS, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, in Maryland. Born on July 22, 1935, in Intipuca,El Salvador, he lived a life marked by an unwavering spirit, deeply rooted in love, generosity, and faith.

Magdaleno was known for his great sense of humor, always bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He often prioritized the needs of others above his own, exemplifying selflessness and kindness throughout his life. As a man of God, he faced challenges such as Alzheimer's with resilience and grace, earning admiration from those who knew him.

He had a profound love for gardening and cherished the companionship of animals, particularly his beloved dog, Shadow. Enjoying walks was not just a hobby for him but a chance to enjoy nature and reflect on the beauty of life.

Magdaleno is survived by his loving wife, Maria Arias; his sister and brother Maria del Carmen Arias and Antonio Arias; his daughters, Irma Andrade, Zoila Melendez, Roxana Berrios, and Clarissa Villanueva; and his son-in-law, Oscar Berrios. He held his grandchildren close to his heart: Kenia Garcia; Rossalyn Arroyo; Edwin Martinez; Calvin Melendez; Jacqueline Melendez; Josue Berrios; Juan Martinez Jr.; Kelly Martinez; Madai Berrios; Jennifer Villanueva; Oscar Ali Berrios; and Melanie Cordova. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Ariana Arroyo, Bradon Martinez, Maxton Martinez, Mia Arroyo, Adalyn Diaz, Evangeline Garcia, Bentley Melendez, Sophia Melendez, Calista Melendez, Isadora Melendez, Avayah Cordova and Levi Melendez to be born in January. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved son-in-law, Antonio Melendez.

Magdaleno's legacy of laughter, love, and generosity will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished by his family as they continue to honor his spirit of kindness and selflessness.
